Looks like Chicago PD has a warning for the criminals in the Windy City.
TVLine has an exclusive first look at the NBC cop drama's fifth season poster: "Not on Our Watch."
This season as the Intelligence unit tries to defend the community, it'll focus and explore real-life issues that cops are facing and those that are sworn to protect and serve.
"The thing I wanted to do the most was to attach th e show to Chicago 2017," says new showrunner Rick Eid telling TVLine. "We live in a pretty complicated society these days, and nowhere is it more complicated right now than Chicago, especially as it relates to police and crime and racial tenson. It's really fascinating place to be a cop right now."
In the poster, we see Jason Beghe's Sergant Hank Voight seen tearing through the police tape.. Seems that it'll show that he will continue to cross lines to get the job done.
"The way he polices may not necessarily work in Season 5," said Eid. With more eyeballs on Intelligence's leader as a result of reform, Voight will "probably have to change the way he goes about doing business. It doesn't change the results he's going after or his internal code. It just changes the way he has to get from A to B."
What do you think of the poster? Ready for the new season?
You can catch the season premiere of Chicago PD Wednesday, Sept. 27th at 10/9c on NBC.
