#TheFlash Mid-Season/Fall Finale Recap "What You Missed So Far This Season"

In the premier of the Flash Ronnie and Professor Stein turn into Firestorm and destroy the singularity, which cost Ronnie's life. Henry Allen is home after Dr. Wells left a hard drive confessing he killed Nora proving Henry Allen innocence. Barry/The Flash receive the key to the city. Team Flash defeat the Atom Smasher who reveal that he was sent to kill the flash by Zoom. Henry Allen decided not to stay in Central City; Cisco made the Flash a new suit and Jay Garrick explains to everyone that he is the Flash on his world, a parallel Earth and that he was in a battle with a demonic speedster named Zoom when the singularity brought him to this Earth without his powers. In episode 2 Barry is having a hard time trusting Jay thanks to Wells betraying him. Shantel VanSanten “Quinn from One Tree Hill” is introduce as Detective Patty Spivot Joe’s new partner and newest member of the CCPD metahuman task force. Patty is also Iris new competition for Barry’s potential love interest “she is hot, but I am still team Iris.” Caitlin is still trying to hold it together after Ronnie’s death, and Iris is trying to get her to look at Jay, but she is not ready. Cisco is having side effect from being kill by the reverse Flash last season, but is trying to hide it from the team until he know what is really happening, or so he said, and Dr. Stein collapsed. In episode 3 Jay has grown on Caitlin, and she offers to help him with the singularity breaches that was found in Star lab. Jay creates a device that fixed the singularity breaches and allowed him to return to his world, but after being asked by Caitlin and the team to stay, he decided to stick around and help Barry stop Zoom or just to get closer to Caitlin. Meanwhile Leonard Snart "Captain Cold" Sister Lisa Snart "sister Cold" showed up at the coffee shop to ask team Flash help find her brother Leonard who is missing, the team hesitated at first because of their past experience with Cold clan but decided to help. However, it was discovered that Captain Cold was not kidnapped but was working with his father Lewis, who threaten to kill Lisa if he helps him steal some diamonds. Barry and the team felt deceived, but Lisa swears that Leonard would never work with their father willingly because their father was abusive toward her when she was a child. Eventually, the team determines that Lewis placed a bomb inside of Lisa's head. Barry infiltrates Lewis' crew with assistance from Leonard. Cisco successfully removes the bomb from Lisa, so Leonard uses his cold gun to kill his father in retaliation. Earth-2's Dr. Harrison Wells arrives through the singularity breach at the lab, and Dr. Stein's condition continues to deteriorate. In episode 4 the team was able to stabilize Dr. Stein for a short period of time while they can locate another viable partner for the Firestorm matrix. The team identifies two potential candidates, a scientist named Henry Hewitt and a former high school football star named Jefferson Jackson. Hewitt is excited to merge with Stein, but the attempt fails and Hewitt leave angrily, but unknowingly connected to the Firestorm matrix. Jefferson initially refuses, but when Hewitt goes on the attack with his new abilities Jefferson agrees to merge with Dr. Stein. After the successful merger, the new Firestorm joins Barry in helping to take down Hewitt, by forcing Hewitt to get angrier until he burns himself out and loses his abilities. Meanwhile, Dr. Wells breaks into Mercury Labs and steals an unknown device. Later, Barry is attacked by a humanoid shark monster sent by Zoom to kill the Flash, but he is saved when Dr. Wells uses the device to incapacitate the creature. Iris left Joe feeling surprised by the reaction of her mom being alive and Patty and Barry’s relationship develops “I am not happy about that.” In episode 5 Barry introduces Harrison Wells from the other world to the team, and they are not taking it well, Joe came in and shot at him, but Barry stops the bullets and explained. Cisco is trying to teach Barry how to get a girl phone number after he experiences an awkward conversation between him and Patty in the coffee shop, he failed at first but later she introduce herself as Kendra Sander. At the same time, a thief from Earth-2 named Doctor Light arrives and starts robbing banks. Jay tells Barry that she can be reasoned with, and it works until Barry recognizes her as the Earth-2 version of Linda Park. Later, Light attempts to kill Linda and take over her life, but accidentally kills Linda's boss. Wells reveals Cisco's metahuman powers to the team, which Cisco uses to locate Doctor Light. Barry defeats her using a speed mirage technique that was suggested by Wells. After locking Light up, they plan to use her to lure Zoom and defeat Zoom for good. Jay, who does not trust Wells, thinks it is too dangerous and leaves the team. Back on Earth-2, it is revealed that Zoom has Wells' daughter captive. In episode 6 the team works to find a way to stop Zoom. They plan to use Doctor Light, but she escaped her containment cell after, but luckily her Earth-1 counterpart, Linda Park, agrees to help the team by impersonating Doctor Light. Dr. Wells creates a speed dampening serum, and the team practiced the plan they intended to use to trick Zoom. However, on the day, the attempt fails, as Zoom knew their intention. Zoom and the Flash fought after he went after Linda, but Zoom proves to be much faster and easily beats Barry, showing his defeated, unconscious body to the local news and the police station before ultimately returning him to S.T.A.R. Labs in front of his team. Zoom stabs Barry with his hand, but Cisco shoots him with the serum, which hurts Zoom but still leaves him with enough speed to escape. Later, Wells reveals that Zoom has his daughter Jesse and that he came to Earth-1 to stop Zoom. Barry wakes from his injuries and discovers that he can no longer feel his legs. In episode 7 Barry is feeling helpless and defeat after Zoom humiliated him in front of his city and his team. Iris notices Barry slums and reaches out to Henry Allen, who returns to the city to help Barry overcome his fears. Cisco has a date with Kendra Saunders but leaves after seeing a winged man in one of his vibes. Grodd returns, using scientists to steal various chemicals in the hopes of creating more gorillas with his level of intelligence. Grodd later kidnaps Caitlin with mind control to help him with his plan. The team dresses Wells up as the Reverse Flash in order to trick Grodd into thinking that his "father" is still alive. The plan works long enough for Wells to rescue Caitlin before they both escape. Barry regained his confidence after a pep talk from henry and was able to lure Grodd to one of the dimensional breaches and send him to a jungle sanctuary for gorillas that have been experimented on in Earth-2 with the help of Caitlin and the team. Cisco has a second date with Kendra, and vibe again, but, this time, seeing Kendra as the winged person. In episode 8 the Flarrow crossover Vandal Savage arrives in Central City looking to kill Priestess Shayera, who turns out to be Kendra, who has no knowledge of her past lives. Upon realizing how powerful Savage is Barry enlists the help of Oliver “the green Arrow” and his team to protect Kendra until they can stop Savage. Malcolm Merlyn appeared out of know where “sacred the sizz out of everyone” and told them what he knew of Vandal Savage. He explains that Savage was is an immortal who cannot be stopped. Later, Kendra is kidnapped by a winged man but is rescued by Barry and Oliver, who capture him. The man is revealed to be Carter Hall “Prince Khufu” an ancient Egyptian and Kendra’s soulmates who have been connected for 4,000 years “Cisco was not happy.” He explains that they are destined to die and be reborn, and have found each other in every lifetime. Carter explains that Savage has killed them in their last 206 lifetimes, each time growing stronger. Savage locates the Staff of Horus, the only weapon capable of killing Carter and Kendra, in Central City. After Kendra unlocks her abilities, the team decides to regroup in Central City to take down Savage for good. Meanwhile, Caitlin and Harrison create a serum that will increase the Flash's speed temporarily so that he can defeat Zoom. In episode 9 the midseason/fall finale Mark Mardon breaks James Jesse and Leonard Snart out of Iron Heights in an effort to team up to kill the Flash. Snart declines and instead warns Barry as repayment for him saving his sister Lisa Snart. Patty history and her true motive behind her joining the CCPD metahuman task force is reveal when she learned Mardon was back in the city. Patty sets out to take revenge against Mardon for killing her father. Jesse and Mardon place bombs hidden in Christmas gifts throughout the city, threatening to set them off in family homes if the Flash does not sacrifice himself. Wells, Cisco, and Jay find one of the bombs and alter its magnetic polarity; they send it into one of the dimensional breaches, which causes it to attract the remaining bombs, removing them from the city. With them gone, the Flash subdues Mardon and Jesse. Patty arrives ready to kill Mardon, but the Flash talks her out of it. Meanwhile, Joe learns that his ex-wife was pregnant when she left and that he has an adult son named Wally who later shows up at Joe's house. Elsewhere, Zoom visits Wells and agrees to release his daughter if Wells helps Flash become faster so he can steal Flash's speed.
