This family never seems to talk about anything. It's so easy for them not to. Secrets eventually be revealed. Sooner or later, everything hidden becomes seen.
Let's recap and review this episode. Anna tells the Secret Service guy to leave. She doesn't want to take the phone. Brody repeatly ask Anna who is that guy. She never answer Brody. She tells Brody to go in the house. It's amazing how he feels the need to protect Anna and Bonnie. Could Brody be in love with both sisters? Anna gets in the car. She tells the Secret Service guy to move or she will run him over. At this point Anna's life is already all over the place; no need to not talk to him now. Eventually, the President is on speaker and he is talking to Anna. She tries to not say anything to him. A reminder from the President about how he doesn't like to be ignored changed that. He tells Anna she needs to be on the first flight back to DC. Anna response was I am not come back to DC. Anna is mad at the President, why? She was a willing participant in this affair. She makes it clear to the President that their affair is over. Brody is standing outside the car and hear this entire conversation. What is the President motives? Did he fall in love with Anna? Anna grabs the phone and through it on the ground. She drives off and the Secret Service guy gets his next orders. He then leave Brody's premises.
Nelson calls Octavia looking for his wife. Octavia is confused being that Regina told her she was talking to Nelson. She asked him wasn't you just talking to her an hour ago. He tells her no and ask her to give Regina the phone. Octavia is now on alert because Regina is nowhere to be found in the middle of the night. Regina is laid up with the next door neighbor. She has been having an affair with him. Regina phones starts to ring. He grabs her phone seeing it's her husband. She doesn't answer the phone. They both are married but he has fallen in love with Regina. Regina doesn't respond like she is in love with him. She is very disappointed in herself and unhappy with her life. She had dreams to leave Happy, Alabama yet she is still there. Elm tries to comfort her by saying they can move to the big city and get jobs. Blue collar living isn't the lifestyle Regina wants. She gets up to head home.
As she walking to her trailer, she notice Frankie peeking out her blinds. She bangs on Frankie's door. She orders Frankie to open the door. Regina knows Frankie is hiding something about her life. She tells her to stay out her Business or she will blow her life up. What is Frankie's story? We know she running from someone and something. For whatever reason Regina doesn't like Frankie and the feeling is mutual. Frankie's Patience's is running dry with Regina. She tells her, " you want to see another side of me". I was down to see a cat fight but that may be coming later in the season. These two has to go there at least once. Lol.
nna arrives back at Bonnie's trailer. Matt is waiting up for her. He was worried about his aunt. He asked Anna, can he give her a hug? She wanted to know why he wanted to do that. Matt said because I love you. How sweet was that? That was very loving and Anna needed that.
Anna wish Rebel could be more like Matt. Anna has been gone from home for four years. She doesn't know anything that's going on in her daughter's life. Matt tells Anna how Rebel is being picked on at school. Because they are poor, the boys in school picks with Rebel. Matt assures Anna, Rebel will be alright. He is helping her be strong is what he told his aunt. Anna asked, "can you teach her to stop being so mean"? They share a well need laughter, however Rebel didn't find anything funny.
Rebel is so angry but doesn't she has the right to be? Her mother abandoned her for four years, she's getting picked on in school for being poor, her mother comes home because of a scandal, she couldn't have been killed by stray bullets and she finds out she was conceived from a rape. Oh, let's not forget her cousin Matt is also her brother. Chile, that's alot to be mad, pissed and angry about. Rebel points out all those facts and say laugh at that.
Boonie comes out her room and tells Rebel to stop it and calm down. Rebel let's her aunt and mother know, they heard them talking about their childhood. Bonnie avoids everything and send Rebel to bed. Before Rebel heads to bed, she asked Anna, " Is that why you didn't want me?" Ouch!!!!! That's a hard accusation to face.
Bonnie tells Matt to go to bed too. Matt asked both his aunts, "you were raped?" Like everything else, they both refuse to talk about it. Matt make a good point, at some point they are going to have to tell them kids what happen to them. Rebel and Matt heard it but they have questions that need to be answered. They deserve that. Annoyed with his aunts, Matt drops a bomb on them. If the guy is who Shelby mentioned then you should know he has been looking at Rebel. Bonnie wants to know when and Anna can't believe he isn't in jail. Wow, this family truly doesn't talk.
Once Matt goes to bed, Anna asked Bonnie, "Why he isn't in jail?" Boonie confirms that the guy isn't in jail but he is on the sexual predator list. Anna is upset that he is looking at Rebel. She tells Bonnie, "he can't look at her. " Bonnie will handled it like she does everything else. For the first time since Anna's return home, you see Bonnie mad at Anna. But we all know that's about Brody. Anna wants to know why she didn't tell her what was going on. Bonnie finally makes it clear, she has been there taking care of these kids. She tells Anna, "don't talk to me about it". The crazy part is, Matt is Shelby's son and Rebel is Anna's daughter; Bonnie has no kids. This really isn't her responsibility but as the oldest sister, she feel it is. Bonnie drops the discussion and goes to bed. Knowing Bonnie is mad at her, Anna tells out "you don't want me here no more." Nope she doesn't, but you are sister. Bonnie can deny it all she wants but Anna and I see right through you.
Back at Brody's house, Dax and Victor finally discuss sleeping with the Senator. Victor can't believe Dax did this to him. He trusted Dax with his family secret. But Dax, trusted him with his heart. They betrayed each other. This hurts Dax so much because this particular Senator tried to destroy Dax's life and Victor knows that. That explains his bitch switch being turned on. Oh yes Dax, I like that phrase. Lmao. Valerie tries to reason with Dax. She tries to remind him that he loves Victor. Maybe she should have minded her own business. Victor bitch switch is on fiyah. We know Valerie has been pissed off at Anna. Come to find out, the President cut Valerie off once he became interested in Anna. Dax drops that bombshell. Valerie denies Dax accusation. Dax is working with First Lady who seems to know everyone her husband has on the side. Did Valerie really sleep with the President? That could explain the extra energy she giving to be being mad at Anna. Dax walks out on Valerie and Victor.
Octavia questioned Regina about her whereabouts. Octavia catches Regina in a lie. Regina tells Octavia she went for a drive. Little did she know, Octavia knows the car has been moved. Octavia knows Regina is up to no good and cheating on her brother but Regina denies it.
Brody is sitting on the porch when Dr. Allen comes outside. Dr. Allen tells Brody she has moved on, you have to let her go. Brody isn't sure if Dr. Allen is in his right mind. He asked his father," what is my name?" Dr. Allen gets upset with Brody. He knows he is talking to Brody ND he finally acknowledge that. There conversation is interrupted by Dax. Dax storms out the house being so rude and disrespectful. He is mad at Victor but taking it out on everyone. Dax is ready to leave but his car is blocked in. Instead of asking Brody kindly to move the tractor, he had a temper tantrum. He demanded for Brody to move the tractor. Brody doesn't appreciate the disrespect in front of his father or the fact he open his house to Dax and his friends. Brody tells Dax to move the tractor his self. Dax yells, "Brody, please!!" Brody tells him to watch his mouth. He also makes it clear he can bury a dead body on his property. Lmao! Dax walks away on foot. Valerie comes downstairs as Brody and Dr. Allen comes in the house.
Brody asked Valerie, "what is his problem?" She explains that Dax is goin through alot right now. She apologizes for Dax behavior. Brody makes it clear that Dax doesn't want to mess with him. I agree with Brody. Dax doesn't look like he can physically handle Brody in a fight. Dr. Allen got a thang for the brown. He calls Valerie someone named Sheba. He starts telling them just how good Sheba made him feel. When Brody asked, "did mama know?" Dr. Allen says, "it's his bedtime." While going up the stairs, Dr. Allen gives Valerie a snack on the booty. He a naughty old man.
Rick drops Shelby off at the trailer park. Nosey Mama has her blind up looking out the window. After Shelby and Rick talks about her lies and loving each other, they agree to see each other the next day. Rick is getting paid so of course they will be getting high. Shelby mother's call her to come to the window. Shelby has no cut cards, she asked her mother what she want. Mama wants to know who she was with and when she going to get herself together. Mama say, " I smell drugs all the way over here." Shelby fires back with, "all you smell is good." CTHU!!! Right after that, mama asked Shelby to get her something to eat. She claims her sugar is low. Shelby is the wrong person to ask anything from but she does tells her she will think about it.
Once inside Bonnie's trailer, Shelby tries to make Anna get off the couch. Anna doesn't move. Matt comes out the room. Shelby, his mother tried to touch him. He tells her, "don't touch me." Shelby tells Matt, "he grew up to be handsome." That's the nicest thing I have heard Shelby say since the show aired. Goes to show, she has a soul; it's just troubled. Shelby walks to the kitchen to make her mother a sandwich. Matt want to do what she is doing. She explains his grandmother is hungry. Matt let's her know, Bonnie doesn't feed her this late. Shelby laughs at him. Matt yells at Shelby she has to leave. Shelby isn't going anywhere.
Bonnie come out and sends MTT to bed. She asked Shelby," what was she doing there? " Shelby says, " she came to sleep but she in my bed." Anna tells Shelby, " this isn't a bed." Shelby is so funny in the scene. Bonnie tells Shelby she can sleep with her. Shelby Fels so special and happy like a kid in the candy store. So excited, Shelby points out that Bonnie is mad at Anna. She also say, "You must be really mad at her." Looks like Bonnie's sisters know her better then she think they do.
As they getting in bed, Shelby runs it in that Bonnie is mad at Anna. Bonnie just want to go to sleep. She tells Shelby to go to sleep. Shelby goes to the bathroom to get high. She drops her pills but finds a positive pregnancy test. She picks it up and take it to show Bonnie. OMG, Anna is pregnant by the President. Ooouuuuu!!! Shelby shows he test to Bonnie and she say it isn't her test. Shelby said it isn't her test. The test also isn't Rebels. That only leave Anna. Shelby wants to go question Anna but Bonnie said not tonight.
Dax shows up at the trailer asking Anna for help. He needs a ride to Montgomery or a bus terminal to get out of Happy, Alabama. For a splint second, you see Anna and Dax being the friends they once were. She admits to Dax the President called her. She tells him she told him it's was over but he won't leave her alone. Dax is probably the wrong person to confine it being that he works for against the President with the First Lady. Dax asked Anna for a ride but she said she can't take him. He gets upset with her blaming her for Victor being assaulted and all of them being in Alabama. Anna blames him for not helping her in the first place and Victor wouldn't had to help her. Pissed off even more, Dax walks off again in the streets of Happy, Alabama.
You have to remember to lock doors when staying at Brody's house. Valerie carelessness give Dr. Allen the opportunity to come into her room. A naked Dr. Allen gets in the bed with Valerie thinking she is Sheba. Valerie wakes up screaming. Brody comes running III not the room and grab his father. Brody remains Valerie to lock the door. Victor finally have a good laugh despite his troubles. Valerie finds it good that he can have a sense of humor with his family troubles. Victor doesn't want the reminder. Victor can't believe Dax did this to him. He says to Valerie, " I thought you said he didn't have that kind of power." What did that mean? Did Valerie and Victor have a motive before he met Dax? Did Valerie introduce Victor to Dax? Hmmm!! Valerie assures Victor that Dax doesn't have that kind of power. Victor and Valerie agrees to get out of Happy, Alabama.
JB picked Dax up from on the side of the road. Dax is happy to be getting a ride until he learns who he riding beside. He realize JB is the guy that assaulted Victor.
