#Lucifer: Season 2 Ep. 5 "Weaponizer" Recap & Review

Trouble brews for Lucifer and team when Archangel Uriel comes to town to claim Chloe's life...

Det. Chloe Decker's life is in danger when Lucifer's brother Uriel (Michael Imperioli) comes to earth with Azrael's blade to take her life in exchange for Lilith's continued existence on earth. Sadly, Lucifer cannot convince Chloe of what's happening since she remains a skeptic about Lucifer's status as the Devil/fallen angel/son of God.

Lucifer follows Chloe around, and when that doesn't work, he assembles the team and garners what extra protection he can for Det. Decker, suggesting that she change up her habits and become unpredictable, telling Chloe to think of him as her "guardian devil," even confronting his brother, Uriel.

Uriel's stance on the matter, however, remains unchanged, even after hearing Lucifer's plea. Lucifer then speaks with Amenadiel who is less than enthused to be thrown into the mix, broken angel wings and all. Amenadiel, we find, has become a fallen angel and Uriel handily sees through Amenadiel's ruse.

As these events unfold, an action film star is murdered in his dojo. Chloe, Lucifer, and Ella are dispatched to investigate. Charisma Carpenter guest stars as action star Wesley's ex who is now dating one of Wesley's ex-co-stars, Kimo Van Zandt and sleeping with his business manager to boot.

A tangled web has clearly been woven and it's up to Chloe, Lucifer, Det. Dan and Ella to untangle, which Dan capably does after finding an important clue at the crime scene, implicating one of the players involved in this tangled love quadrangle.

Trixie finally begins to figure out, after her Mom's accident, that Chloe's job is dangerous and begins to show new concern about it, both to Chloe and to Lucifer. Trixie is just starting to come to grips with the fact that her Mom has moved out and that life for her family is changing. Chloe is not living with new friend Maz rather than Det. Dan and Trixie is caught in the middle.

We do have confirmation that episode seven of season two of Lucifer will focus heavily on Trixie, who until now has not been a big part of the storyline. We're all looking forward to seeing more of this adorable and talented young actor (Espinoza)!

In the end, Lucifer, Amenadiel and Maz find a good balance, keeping Lilith somewhat happy and Chloe safe, but likely only for the time being. How will things play out? Tune in to the next episode of "Lucifer."
