Did it go down or what? Who thinks Erica deserve a beat down? My oh, my, did the heat gets turned up and the War is over? You get the joke, lol. Let's jump into this episode. It was turned up.
Jim and David show up while Katheryn and Veronica are burning down the Cryer Mansion. Veronica refuses to go down for Katheryn's rage with Jennifer. Katheryn wishes Jim was in that house on fire. That has to be some intense hatred to want someone on fire. Jim try to get David to talk to Veronica. David is so done with Veronica, even talking to her isn't on his to do list. As they stand to watch the mansion burn down, you can't help, but wonder was that the best thing to do. The timing raises suspicion to me. But these four always manage to get out of trouble together. Sadly, none of them trust each other but have no choice at this point. If one goes down, they all go down.
Charles is pissed with Landon. He told Landon to clean Candace image. Instead, he calls the police with her whereabouts. I don't understand why Landon just won't tell him why he hates Candace. Even though it wouldn't matter to Charles, it would explain his actions. Charles once again says Landon to help Candace. Landon soon learns that maybe Charles isn't the choir boy he thought he was. What was Charles past? Inquiring minds want to know.
Candace goes to the hotel room to see the aftermath of where her son was killed. Through her falling tears, she questions God. She asked, "Where is God now?" At some point, Candace has to take responsibility for something. This should be that moment. This is her son. Justin takes along with George and the detective. George is about to question Wyatt about Jennifer's encounters with the Cryer. Just because it's Wyatt, Justin wants to tag along. He has to protect his self and make sure Wyatt doesn't mention him. Now, the cop sitting in the back, was that the rookie with Justin that night at Wyatt's house? He was a little focus on Justin and the detective conversation.
Jeffrey and Landon talk about Justin. Landon warns Jeffrey that things with Justin can get dangerous. Justin still hasn't come out the closet. He in denial about being gay but he has fallen in love with Jeffrey. His double life is going to be exposed eventually. Veronica will be the one to expose him. Veronica interrupts Landon and Jeffrey's conversation. Her and Landon take a few shots at each other before she dismisses him. Veronica wants Jeffrey to come home and take care of Melissa. She insists on Jeffery being straight. Jeffrey takes up for his and tries to stand up for Melissa. Too bad Veronica doesn't have a heart. She doesn't care about Melissa being death or her suicide attempt. Candace walks pass them. Veronica takes a shot at her. Any other time, Candace would have gone toe to toe with comebacks for Veronica. This time, Candace just walks past. Jeffrey knows why Candace isn't herself at that moment. He tries to comfort his Candace, but Candace is in her world. She ignores Jeffrey.
George, Detective Hines, and Officer Justin arrive at Wyatt's place. Wyatt sees Justin and asks if he had to be there. Eventually, Wyatt gets agitated with Justin's presence. He makes a statement about he doesn't like how Justin treats his friends. Detective Hines ask what he is talking about, but Justin acts clueless. In the meantime, Wyatt is giving George the motive to a Cryer killing Jennifer. Wyatt is showing how he has an intense dislike for his parents. George is soaking up all this information. I think Wyatt should have had a lawyer present. George can't be trusted either.
Candace arrives back at the hotel. Charles gives comfort by offering to look into what happened to Baby Q. For some reason, Candace keep asking him, "Did you do this? " Charles may be powerful, but I don't think to that degree. He seems smarter than that. Once inside her room, Candace makes a few calls. Her revenge begins. First, call to Erica. She tells Erica to see her. She finally gives Erica her hotel room number. The second call to Hanna. She needs confirmation. Hanna confirms it was War. Now I was thrown off by this conversation. Hanna said she was on top of Baby Q. But yet, Hanna didn't get shot not one time. I guess the Lord presence truly protected Hanna. Candace wishes it was Hanna that got killed vs. her son. This is one mother and daughter relationship that is too damaged to heal. The third call was to Mitch. Now we know Mitch isn't in his family business. He is walking through that door for Candace. Candace tells Mitch she wants him dead. The plan is to get War to Mama Rose's restaurant. It's about to go down.
Erica shows up at Candace's hotel room. She has already called War and gave him Candace whereabouts. Erica is stupid. It's obvious she scared of Candace. Who lets someone smack them like that? If she can't handle Candace, she definitely can't handle Veronica. Candace knows Erica is shady and dealing with War. Candace calls War. He admits to killing her son, but he said it was an accident. Candace admits to War she did get 7 million dollars. This call to War was a set up for Erica and war. When Erica phone rings, Candace think it's War. She tells Erica to put the phone on speaker. Erica is nervous thinking it's War, but it was David. Candace not stupid. Once she smelled War scent on Erica's dress, Erica became an enemy. Candace treats Erica to dinner. Getting War to Mama Rose wasn't that hard. Erica walks War right into his death.
Candace and Erica arrive at the restaurant. Erica wasted no time going to the bathroom. Wow, with friends like her; who needs enemies. Mitch approach Candace. He tells her to stay quiet and stay out of dodge. He escorts Candace to the table. It's about to be a blood bath.
Benny is released from jail finally. He calls Hanna to pick him up. Charles is giving a speech. He asked for a moment of silence for the Young Family.
Erica sits looking at the menu. Who sits beside her? War with his entourage behind him. War stood up and then was down. It was nothing but gun shots sounding, people running and bullets flying. Candace's revenge was victorious. What will she do to Erica?
