Episode grade- 7
This episode was honestly pretty boring, except for the 2nd to the last scene, which I will get to it.
In the promo for this episode, we knew we'd be getting a lot of Rumple. Gideon resumes his quest to kill Emma (Jennifer Morrison) in order to become the new Savior But we also knew (and kind of hoped) Hook would confront Emma about what he did in his past.
In this episode, we have a flashback to the first Ogre Wars, Beowulf is introduced and is ready to be a Hero, yet the entire army is killed in battle, and all the ogres are defeated by none other than Rumplestiltskin. Baelfire is also in this flashback, but A, Dylan Ray Schmidt grew up, so they replaced him for another Actor, and B, all he does is try to convince Rumple to do the right thing, and honestly it's honestly super annoying.
In the present day, Gideon is once again confronted by Rumple, explaining how in order to restore the sword Emma tries to kill him with, he needs all of the Blue Fairy's magic, the same Blue Fairy who just happened to be Gideon's "fairy godmother" as a child. On the other side, Regina still has issues with Wish Realm Robin and Zelena attempt to leave town with a potion that hopefully can break down the magical portal protecting and hiding Storybrooke. On the other, another side,
The hook is still feeling heavy with the burden of what he did all those years ago, Archie confronts him once again, telling Hook he won't find out anything unless he talks to Emma. Eventually, as he always does, Hook puts Emma's happiness before his guilt when he discovers that she found the engagement ring in his sea chest. And as expected, after everything they've been through, the gentleman he is, Captain Hook gets down on one knee and proposes to his True Love.
A great scene to have after all the Rumple crap that went on before if you are a Rumble fan the yeah for you.
Once Upon a time, 6x13 pulled in the attention 2.72 million viewers total, going down a tenth from last week 3.06, with a .08 on the demo graph.
I don't blame these ratings at all, well maybe a little considering all the CS fans...but nevertheless, no one cares about Rumbelle at all anymore.
Once Upon a Time airs Sunday nights at 8/7c.
