Asia Michelle AM Teens Book Of The Day Room by Emma Donoghue

The book of the day is Room by Emma Donoghue, a national best seller. I choose this book because I found this book very interesting, it is written from the point of view of a 5-year-old. It was fascinating to see the world through the eyes of a child. He didn’t even know the world because his mom told him that everything he saw on TV was not real and all imaginary. He was confined to a small room with fewer things a normal child would have, yet his mind created a whole new world. In the book, Room is home to Jack but to Ma is the prison that she was held for 7 years. Through Ma’s love for her first son created a life for him in an 11*11 foot space, but Jack’s curiously built alongside Ma own desperation, and she know that the room cannot contain either much longer. This book was made into an independent drama film directed by Lenny Abrahamson. Release dates September 4, 2015 (Telluride) and October 16, 2015 (United States).

Sueboohs Corner

We will discuss all our favorite shows, stars and episodes. We will give our opinions of the each episode and reply to as many questions and comment as possible. This blog is for TV lovers, for people who use the TV to get away from reality for one (1) hour or four (4). We want to change the way people watch TV and show them how just one TV show can make a difference in their day, weather it is discussing it with a coworker or a stranger on a train. To us each episode of your favorite TV show is like eating vanilla bean ice cream with hot fudge for the first time. Step away from the stress of life and come to Sueboohs Corner, sign up and lets get talking.
